David W. Maloof

"Beloved Brother and Uncle, well known local businessman"

LOWELL David W. Maloof, 56, of Lowell, died from complications due to a massive stroke, Friday, March 16, 2012 at Saints Medical Center.

Born April 29, 1955, in Chelsea, he was a son of the late Elias J. Maloof, and the late Barbara (Mansur) Maloof, attended the local schools,

and graduated from Lowell High School with the Class of 1973.

He resided in the Centralville section of the city, and was a communicant of St. George Syrian Orthodox Church in Lowell.David loved playing

cards at Rockingham Park, especially Poker. He was a world traveler, traveling to places such as China, Bangkok, Thailand, and Vietnam, just

to name a few. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time flyfishing in Alaska. David also loved cooking for his family and friends

and professionally.

David is survived by two sisters, Frances G. Gauthier and her husband, William of Lowell, and Karen A. Nappa and her husband, Carmen of Lowell;

three nieces, Barbara A. Harding and her husband, Michael of Nashua, Kayleigh M. Jones and her husband, Peter of Lowell,

Tricia Lane and her husband, Timothy of Lowell, and a great niece Savanna Rose Lane of Lowell; three great nephews, Michael P. Harding and

Matthew P. Harding both of Nashua, and Landyn Lane of Lowell; a cousin, Charles Shadan of Groton; an aunt, Sharon Stephenson of Blue Eye, MO.

He is also survived by his friends, Wayne Virgin of Billerica, Tom Soyden of Saco, ME, Steve Chiklis of Windham, NH, David Salinas of Sandown, NH,

and Adelbert 'The Dogman' Christman of Lowell; and many more cousins and friends.

He was also the grandson of the late, Sally Mansur and the late Julie Maloof.
