Arthur G. ‘Art’ Rocheleau
LOWELL Arthur G. ‘Art’ Rocheleau, 64, of Lowell, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, February 24, 2016, at Lowell General Hospital. He is survived by his significant other and best friend and soulmate, Linda (Gouveia) Boisvert, who he shared his life with for the past thirty six years.
A son of the late Arthur R. and the late Florence A. (Robert) Rocheleau, he was born December 7, 1951, in Lowell, attended the local schools, and graduated from Lowell High School, Class of 1970. After High School, he served with the United States Marine Corp.
He made his lifelong home in Lowell, residing mostly in the Highlands, and was a communicant of St. Margaret Parish. He worked for General Electric in Lowell for many years before working for Lubrizol in Wilmington for more than twenty years.
Art enjoyed cooking, traveling, and was an animal lover. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and cousins.
In addition to the love of his life, Linda, he is survived by his daughter, Cassandra Ouellette and her husband, George, of Peabody; his son, Jason Rocheleau of Haverhill; his step children, Gina Johansen and her husband, Christopher, of Wakefield, Jessica Gill and her husband, Daniel of Groton, and Gerald Boisvert of Haverhill; seven grandchildren, Jaida Descoteaux, Cameron Boisvert, Emma Gill, Aidan Gill, Joshua Johansen, Morgan Ouellette, and Benjamin Ouellette; his brother, Brian E. Rocheleau of Dracut; his nieces and nephew William, Rebecca and Aubrey Rocheleau, his sister in law Cindy Rocheleau, as well as many extended family in Linda’s family and many cousins and friends.
He was also a brother of the late Ronnie Rocheleau.


YOU ARE INVITED TO HIS CALLING HOURS 4 UNTIL 8 P.M. ON MONDAY.

 

ON TUESDAY, HIS FUNERAL WILL BEGIN AT 9 A.M. AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL 978-458-6816.

 

HIS FUNERAL MASS WILL BE OFFERED AT ST. MARGARET PARISH, 374 STEVENS ST., LOWELL, AT 10 A.M..

 

BURIAL IN ST. JOSEPH CEMETERY.
