THOMAS J. FOLEY
MANCHESTER Thomas J. Foley, 81, of Manchester, NH, died surrounded by his loving family. Friday, February 6. 2015 at his home. For 55 years he was the husband of the late Mary Jane Foley, who passed away last March.
Born on November 2, 1933, in Lowell, he was a son of the late Arthur, and the late Blanche (Roux) Foley, attended St. Peter’s School, and graduated from Lowell High School.
Mr. Foley joined the United States Air Force and served in Korea, and at Ft. Hood. He returned to Lowell and met Mary Jane, they were married in 1960. He was a longtime member of the East End Club, he enjoyed spending summers at Lake Winnipesaukee. He was an avid fan of the New England Patriots, and the Boston Red Sox. His greatest love was being a Grandpa, doting on his wife, and puttering around the house. He worked for B&M Railroad as a crane operator for 18 years, and was as a Lineman for 27 years with New England Power.
He is survived by his three children, Tammy J. Treadwell and Scott Attridge, of Bedford, NH, Patricia J. Primeau and her husband, George, of Derry, NH, and James T. Foley and his wife, Judi, of Dracut; his grandchildren, Ashley Gelinas and her husband, Gregg, of New Boston, NH, Amanda Treadwell and Christopher Hess of Allenstown, NH, Ethan Treadwell of Bedford, NH, Brittany Primeau of Derry, Erin Primeau of Derry, Adam Primeau of Derry, Samantha Foley of Dracut, and Sydney Foley of Dracut; his great grandchildren, Megan Gelinas and Jaxson Hess; his sister Maureen Mealey of Lowell
He was the brother of the late Arthur Foley, Paul Foley, Gerald Foley and Francis Foley and Mildred Overn
YOU ARE INVITED TO HIS CALLING HOURS 3 UNTIL 7 P.M. ON WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 11 AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL (978 OR 800) 458-6816. HIS FUNERAL SERVICE WILL TAKE PLACE IN THE FUNERAL HOME 10 A.M. ON THURSDAY. BURIAL IN ST. MARY CEMETERY.
