Thomas E. Belladue


LOWELL Thomas E. Belladue, 58, of Lowell, died Friday evening July 3rd, at Lowell General Hospital - Saints Campus, after a brief illness.

Born May 12, 1957, in Boston, Tom was raised the son of the late Margaret (Maggie) Sheehan and the late Maurice (Sonny) Sheehan of Tewksbury. For the past 17 years, he has shared his life with his partner, Walter C. Reed.

Tom grew up in South Boston and settled in Lowell, where he earned an Associate’s degree from Middlesex Community College. A dedicated employee, he worked passionately, for the past eight years, as a Customer Support Technician for the U.S. Department of Defense Hanscom Air Force Base. In this role, he assisted enlisted personnel and their families to ensure that transitions went smoothly and they had the support they needed. Tom most enjoyed traveling and spending time at Foxwoods with his close friend, Lynda. He will be remembered for his creativity, sense of humor, and witty personality.

In addition to Walter, Tom is survived by his siblings, Joan Belladue of Rochester, NH, Leanne & Paul Winchester of Tyngsboro, Mary Armstrong & her husband, Buster Crandall of Tyngsboro, Timothy & Louise Sheehan of Tewksbury, and Sharon & Parasko Giannakas of Lowell. He is also survived by his extended family, James Reed, Karen Diniz of Framingham, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many friends.

Tom is predeceased by his biological father, Thomas E. Belladue Sr., his life partner's mother, Margarita Reed. He was also the brother of the late William Belladue and the late Michael Sheehan.

YOU ARE INVITED TO ATTEND HIS CALLING HOURS FROM 3 UNTIL 5PM ON FRIDAY, JULY 10 AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL 978-458-6816. HIS FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT 5PM IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING HIS CALLING HOURS AT THE FUNERAL HOME.
