ROBERT T. "BOB" RALLS

"Devoted & Loving Husband, Father & Grandfather"

LOWELL Robert T. "Bob" Ralls, 74, of Lowell, died after a lengthy illness with his family at his side Sunday, December 20, 2009 at D'Youville Senior Health Care. He was the husband of Mary R. (Rogerson) Ralls, with whom they celebrated their 52nd Wedding Anniversary this past February.
Born March 30, 1935, in Lowell, he was a son of the late Edward, and the late Florence (Kershaw) Ralls. He attended the Lowell schools, and graduated from Lowell Trade School.

He was a lifelong Lowell resident, and a longtime resident of the Back Central Neighborhood, where he was instrumental in the Back Central Community Policing Organization. He was a communicant of the former St. Peter's Church. He had been employed as an electrician his entire lifetime, attaining the title of Electrical Engineer in the early 1970's. He was employed by Honeywell for 30 years. He loved walking, cribbage and ice cream. He was also an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, boating, and spending time at Lake Nabnassett, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Besides his wife, Mary, he is survived by 5 children, Gerald E. and his wife Paula Ralls of Dracut, Donna M. and her husband Ronald Breault of Gilbert, AZ, Daniel R. and his wife Christine Ralls of Chelmsford, Stephen A. and his wife Jeanne Ralls of Hudson, NH, and William J. Ralls of Lowell, Two brothers Austin and his wife Carolyn Ralls of Chelmsford, and Raymond and his wife Pauline Ralls of Lowell, and a sister in law Elizabeth Ralls of Dracut, the wife of the late Donald Ralls, Robert's brother. He is also survived by his six grandchildren, Timothy and Alexander Breault, Christopher, Joseph, Corey and Cynthia Ralls, as well as several nieces and nephews.

YOU ARE INVITED TO ATTEND HIS CALLING HOURS FROM 4 UNTIL 8 P.M. ON TUESDAY DECEMBER 22. ON WEDNESDAY, HIS FUNERAL WILL BEGIN AT 9 A.M.
