Robert “Dino” Milinazzo

LOWELL  Robert “Dino” L. Milinazzo, 69, a lifelong resident of Lowell passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 2, 2017.  He was the husband of Denise M. (Bureau) Milinazzo for many years.

Dino was born in Lowell on December 29, 1947 and was a son of the late Dominic A. and Eileen M. (Richardson) Milinazzo. He was raised and educated in Lowell schools. He worked for many years with Bureau Brothers Roofing before ultimately establishing Milinazzo Roofing, where he finished his career. Dino was an extraordinarily talented craftsman and his handiwork is evident throughout the City of Lowell on churches, buildings and homes. He was extremely proud of his work and his love for this city was unquestionable.

Dino loved helping others and in 1992 he led a team of workers to Florida to help with the devastation that hurricane Andrew had left behind.

Dino took great pleasure in making people laugh with his practical jokes and sense of humor. He enjoyed socializing with friends, fishing and watching old westerns.

He had deep respect for his aunts and uncles and loved all his family and friends. He was very well known, loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.

Besides his wife, Denise, he is survived by four children, Gina M. Milinazzo of Lowell, Robert L. Milinazzo Jr. and his wife, Nicole of Hudson, NH, Anthony J. Milinazzo of Lowell, and Dominic R. Milinazzo of Dracut; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Dino also leaves his brothers and sisters, Linda S. Milinazzo (Goyette) of Lowell, Lawrence Milinazzo and his wife, Jeanne of Tewksbury, Donald M. Milinazzo and his wife, Brenda of Chelmsford, Luann Fitzpatrick and her husband, Charles of Lowell, Cindy Barnes of Derry, NH, Susan Borrelli of Lowell, Dominic Milinazzo and his wife, Karen of Pepperell, Daniel Milinazzo and his wife, Brenda of Dracut, and Lisa Milinazzo of Dracut; also many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mr. Milinazzo was also the brother of the late David Milinazzo and the late Joann Milinazzo.

The family would like to express our thanks and gratitude to all the family, friends and neighbors that touched his heart with love and kindness over the years.
