Nancy E. (Finnerty) Blanco
LOWELL Nancy E. (Finnerty) Blanco, 71, of Lowell, died after a period of declining health on Friday, January 16, at her home. She was the wife of Joseph M. Blanco, with whom she would have celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary with on January 22.
Born March 1, 1943, in Lowell, she was a daughter of the late Martin F. and the late Mary Evelyn (Lorrey) Finnerty, attended St. Peter's Grammar School, and Keith Hall.
She was a communicant of Holy Family Parish, and the former Sacred Heart Church, as well as a member of the Sacred Heart Choir, Holy Rosary Sodiality, and taught CCD. She was a member of the SRO Players, Cub Scouts, and the 1000 Club. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed spending time outdoors in the sun, especially laying out by her pool. The most precious thing to her was her family, especially her sister, nieces, nephews, children, and her beloved grandchildren. She worked for Custom Sentry Alarm in Lowell for over 20 years, and then for NEWPRO in Woburn for 12 years before her retirement in 2004.
Besides her husband, Joseph M. Blanco, of Lowell, she is survived by her sons, Martin Mailloux of Virginia Beach, VA, Paul Mailloux Jr. of Annapolis, MD, and Steven and his wife Sabrena Mailloux of Virginia Beach, VA, her two step sons Richard and his wife Wendi Blanco of Derry, NH, and Tim and his wife Nancy Blanco, of Windham, NH; 12 grandchildren, Joey, Christopher, Krystal, Angelina, Joey, Joshua, Brian, Jackson, Jacob, Alexander, Tyler and Maxwell; 2 great grandchildren, C.J. and Landon; her sisters Maureen and her husband John Apostolos of Chelmsford, and Kathleen and her husband George Cheney of Lowell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews including Amy Ormonde of Lowell, and Mark Cheney of San Marcos, California.

AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL (978 OR 800) 458-6816. HER FUNERAL MASS WILL BE OFFERED AT THE HOLY FAMILY PARISH - ST. MARIE CHURCH, 30 GRAFTON ST. LOWELL, AT 11:30 A.M..
