Gloria C. Muldoon
LOWELL Gloria C. (Patenaude) Muldoon, 65, a lifelong Lowell resident, died after a brief illness Monday, May 5, 2005 at Lowell General Hospital. She was the wife of Lawrence Muldoon for more than 25 years.
Born April 12, 1943, in Lowell, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and the late Armande (Daunais) Patenaude, was educated in local schools, and received her Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from University of Massachusetts at Lowell.
She made her home in the Highlands Section of the City, and was a communicant of Holy Family Parish. Gloria had worked for the former Wang Laboratories before becoming affiliated with Boston Medical Center for several years as a payroll analyst. Her hobbies included playing 45’s, cribbage, and enjoying the company of family and friends. Relatives, friends, and acquaintences will remember Gloria for her famous chicken pot pie and baked beans.
In addition to her husband, Lawrence, she is survived by two daughters, Denise Mayo of Derry, NH, and Michelle Finn of Lowell; a son, Stephen Finn of Lowell; her step children, Thomas Muldoon and his wife, Tammy, of Townsend, Brian Muldoon and his wife, Julie, of Ayer, and Cyndi Muldoon of South Carolina; grandchildren, Jennifer Connolly, Jessica Connolly and Cassandra Mayo all of Lowell, Brandi Finn of Derry, NH, and Kaitlyn Muldoon, Patrick Muldoon, and Shannyn Muldoon all of South Carolina, and Shayne Muldooon, and Deven Muldoon both of Ayer; four great grandchildren; her sisters, Jacqueline Desmarais and her husband, Jack, of Saratoga Springs, NY, and Carol Bedell and her husband, John, of Dracut; and several neices, nephews, and cousins.
She was also the mother of the late Jacqueline O'Sullivan, and Lawrence Finn, and sister of the late Lorraine Kilcoyne.
YOU ARE INVITED TO HER CALLING HOURS 4 UNTIL 7 P.M. ON THURSDAY. ON FRIDAY, HER FUNERAL WILL BEGIN AT 8 A.M. AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL (978 OR 800) 458-6816.
