LOWELL Maria Ines (Resendes) Barbeiro, 97, of Lowell, died unexpectedly Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Lowell General Hospital - Saints Campus. She was the wife of the late Jose Resendes who passed away 27 years ago.
Born August 10, 1915 in Sao Miguel, Azores, Portugal, attended the local Sao Miguel schools before coming to the United States in 1978, settling in Lowell, more recently the Christian Hill area.
