Herondina DeLourdes Lobao
WAREHAM Herondina DeLourdes (Silva) Lobao, 64, formerly of Lowell, died Tuesday, January 25, 2011, at Forest View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wareham, surrounded by her family. She was the widow of the late Isalino Lobao who died in 1982.
A daughter of Joao Silva and Evangelina (Espinola) Silva who reside in Lowell, she was born December 21, 1946, in Graciosa, Azores, Portugal, and was educated in that area.
In 1966, she moved with her family to the United States, making her home in the Back Central Street Neighborhood of Lowell. Herondina was a homemaker, and enjoyed her family.
In addition to her parents, Joao and Evangelina, she is survived by her daughter, Linda Duffy and her husband, David, of Plymouth; her son, Tony Lobao of Lowell; her grandchildren, Tony Lobao Jr. of Lowell, and Dylan, Kevin and Sophia Duffy all of Plymouth; her brothers and sisters, Maria Cunha of Lowell, Zulmira Bettencor and her husband, Oriolando, of San Jose, California, Manuel Silva and his wife, Filomena. of Lowell, Agostinho "Gussy" Silva and his wife, Lilly, of Lowell, Dulcelina Silva of Lowell, Durvalina "Dorothy" Silva and her husband, Fernando of Lowell, Ludovina "Connie" Platt and her husband, Robert, of Lowell, Daniel SIlva and his wife, Aida, of Lowell, and Albino Silva and his wife, Trisha Lamarra, of New Hampshire; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also mother of the late Manny E. Lobao, and sister of the late Ludovina Silva.
