LILLIAN HEBERT
Loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister

LOWELL Lillian G. (Welch) Hebert, 89, of Lowell, died as she lived, with grace, dignity and joy, surrounded by the love of her family, Friday, August 30, 2013 at Genesis Westford House. She was the widow of Leo Hebert, who passed away in January of 2008 after 47 years of marriage.
Born July 1, 1924, in Lowell, she was a daughter of the late James C. and the late Mary Ellen (McGovern) Welch. She grew up on Whipple Street, graduated from St. Peter's School and Lowell High School with the class of 1942.
Mrs. Hebert was a lifelong Lowell resident, and worked for Joan Fabrics for over 45 years. She began as an invisible mender, and later as a shade checker until her retirement. She cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life, and also enjoyed her time with friends at both the Lowell and Dracut Senior Centers,
She is survived by two daughters, Leanne M. and her husband Michael McNally of Westford, and Lorraine K. and her husband John Pasciuto of Dracut; her four beloved grandchildren, Katie and Chris McNally of Westford, and Jessica and Lauren Pasciuto of Dracut. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, including her beloved Godchild, Mary "Bunnie" Kirane and by several cherished friends.
She was the sister of the late Mary T. Mastas, the late Anthony C. Welch, the late James J. Welch, and the late William P. Welch, and the late Margaret "Peggy" A. Welch, who immediately predeceased her.

AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL (978 OR 800) 458-6816. HER FUNERAL SERVICE WILL TAKE PLACE IN THE FUNERAL HOME AT 10A.M. FOLLOWED BY BURIAL IN ST. JOSEPH CEMETERY.
