John F. Gorman
"Lifelong Lowell resident"

LOWELL John F. Gorman, 72, a lifelong Lowell resident, died unexpectedly, Monday, December 10, 2012, at his home.
A son of the late John C. Gorman and the late Frances (Wojcik) Gorman, he was born May 6, 1940, in Lowell, and attended the local schools, graduating from Keith Academy, and receiving a degree from Middlesex Community College. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving his country honorably.

He made his home in the Highlands Section of the City, and was a communicant of Holy Trinity Polish Church. He worked for Boise Cascade Office Supply for over 25 years, retiring in 2002. John’s favorite hobby was reading. He also enjoyed watching football, classical music, and opera.

John is survived by his children, Officer Alexander M. Gorman, Dracut Police Dept, of Lowell, and Wendy Veillette of Lowell; his sister, Lois Beaton of Pepperell.

YOU ARE INVITED TO HIS CALLING HOURS FROM 5 UNTIL 8 P.M. ON THURSDAY, DECEMBER 13. ON FRIDAY, HIS FUNERAL WILL BEGIN AT 10 A.M. AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL (978 OR 800) 458-6816. HIS FUNERAL MASS WILL BE OFFERED AT HOLY TRINITY CHURCH ON HIGH STREET AT 11 A.M.
