Jesus Reyes
LOWELL Jesus Reyes, 57 of Lowell, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at his home. He was born in Bayamon, PR on April 2, 1963 and was a son of the late Jesus Maria Reyes and the late Genevieve (Cotto) Reyes.
He was raised in Puerto Rico before moving to Lowell, MA when he was 18 years old. He was an auto body mechanic with Hamel Bros for many years, more recently he was semi-retired and worked as an auto detailer in Lowell.
Jesus was a dedicated and supportive father. He made sure to go to all of his children's and grandchildren's sporting events. He adored his grandchildren, they were his absolute pride and joy, nothing brought him more happiness than spending time with them.
Jesus is survived by his former wife and close friend, Ines Luna of Lowell; his three children, Jesus Reyes Jr. and his fiancée Cate Mann of Lowell, Jennifer Reyes and her husband, Lucas Morales of Lowell and Yesenia Reyes of Lowell; and his grandchildren, Anthony, Olivia, Hannah, Daniella, Haylee, Charlotte, Haedyn, and Arya. He is also survived by his siblings, Gloria M. Pagan and her husband Carlos Dejesus, Carmen Pagan, Leonides Andaluz and her husband Bilaris Ortega, Maria Del Pilar Reyes, Carmen Reyes and her husband Antonio Villanueva, Marianita Reyes, Nereida Reyes and her husband Ruben Rodriguez, Wanda Reyes and her husband Angel Reyes, Vivana Reyes, all of Puerto Rico; and many nieces and nephews.
WHILE FOLLOWING SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES, FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE INVITED TO HIS CALLING HOURS ON MONDAY, JULY 27, 2020 FROM 4-8 P.M. AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL, 978-458-6816.
ON TUESDAY MORNING HIS FUNERAL WILL BEGIN AT THE FUNERAL HOME AT 10 A.M. FOLLOWED BY HIS COMMITTAL PRAYERS AT 12 NOON AT EDSON CEMETERY IN LOWELL.
