Janice D. Reis
CHELMSFORD Janice D. (Angove) Reis, 66, died Wednesday, February 5, 2014, at Lowell General Hospital. She was the widow of the late Brian Reis who died in 2005.
A daughter of the late Lawrence E. Angove Jr. and the late Lillian D. (O’Neill) Angove, she was born May 9, 1947 in Lowell, attended Sacred Heart Grammar School, and graduated from Lowell High School, Class of 1965.
Formerly of Lowell, she was a Chelmsford resident for the past forty-four years, and was a parishioner of the former St. Peter’s Church and the former Sacred Heart Church, and currently was a communicant of St. Anthony’s Church.
Janice worked as a nursing assistant at the former St. Joseph Hospital in Lowell and the Edith Nourse Rogers Veterans Hospital in Bedford, and also worked in Private Duty Nursing.
A loving sister, mother, and grandmother, she enjoyed time spent with family, especially her grandchildren, and she loved to cook.
She is survived by her children, A-J Reis of Ft. Bragg, NC, Tanya Brewer and her husband, Charles, of Chelmsford, and Janice Lefebvre and her husband, Robert, of Lowell; her grandchildren, Thomas Reis of Chelmsford, Nicholas Lefebvre of Lowell, Jason Lefebvre of Lowell, and Joshua Baker of Manchester, NH; her brothers and sisters, Carol Martineau of Lowell; George Angove and his wife, Tina, of Lowell,Donna Maker and her husband, Donald, of Lowell, Mary Gene Bureau of Lowell, Judith Baril and her husband, Joseph, of Lowell,William Angove and his wife, Laura, of Lowell, sisters in law, Susan Angove, of Lowell and Brenda Angove of Lowell; her cousin, Barbara Wilson of Greenland, NH; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also the grandmother of the late Dylan Lefebvre, and a sister of the late Larry Angove III and John Angove Sr., and a cousin of the late John Falante.
YOU ARE INVITED TO HER CALLING HOURS 2 UNTIL 4 AND 7 UNTIL 9 P.M. ON SUNDAY, FEB. 9. ON MONDAY, HER FUNERAL WILL BEGIN AT 9 A.M.
