James R. Lunderville
of Acre and Pawtucketville Sections of Lowell

LOWELL James R. Lunderville, 80, of the Acre and Pawtucketville Sections of Lowell, died November 18, 2012, at Radius Northwood Health Care Center, five days before his Eightieth Birthday.
He was born on November 22, 1932, son of the late Blanche (Bailey) and Glenn Lunderville. After the death of both parents, he was raised by Catherine and Thomas Qualey, attended St. Patrick’s Boy’s School and Lowell High School. Mr. Lunderville joined the Air Force in 1951 during the Korean Conflict, serving in Germany with the Military Police. In his youth, he was a familiar name in the Acre Section of the City where he played with the ‘Tiger Boyle’ and the ‘Acre Shamrocks’ Leagues. He was also active as a coach in P.Y.O. Baseball.
James was employed by Lowell Five Cent Savings Bank and Commonwealth Federal Banks and after retiring, he worked at 7- Eleven Convenience Store.
He is survived by his wife, Ann (Teague) Lundervile; his two daughters, Roberta Hayden and her husband, William, of Groton, and Rhonda Sarica and her husband, Gary, of Tyngsboro; a son, James ‘Lundy’ Lunderville of Lowell an active member of AYO; five grandchildren, Elizabethe Hayden and William Hayden, Bethany Sarica, Alyssa Diamantopoulos and Justin Diamantopoulos; his sister in law, Agnes Lunderville of Waltham; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister, Shirley Frechette and his five brothers, Francis Lunderville, Albert Lunderville, Edward Lunderville, Raymond Lunderville, and Glenn Lunderville.
