Evelyn Y. Otero
LOWELL Evelyn Y. Otero, 53, of Lowell, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016, at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington after a brief illness.
A daughter of Efrain Otero Rivera and Elides (Colon) Otero, she was born February 19, 1963, in Methuen. She was educated in Lowell, and graduated from Lowell High School, Class of 1982.
Evelyn made her lifelong home, residing mostly in the Highlands Section of the City. Family was the center of her life, and in addition to spending time with her family, she enjoyed cooking, trips to the beach, dancing, and enjoyed music as well. She was a member of the New England Pentecostal Church in Pelham, New Hampshire
She is survived by her two daughters, with whom she resided, Sabrina Duquette and Olivia Duquette both of Lowell; her sister, Celia Otero of Lowell; her brothers, Walter Otero of Lowell, Winston Otero of Lowell, and Wayne Otero of Lowell; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also a sister of the late Elides Otero and the late Waldo Otero.
