Diane M. Estacio
"Worked at Lowell District Court for over 25 years"

LOWELL        Diane M. Estacio, 48, a lifelong Lowell resident, died Thursday, June 27, 2013, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer at home with her beloved family by her side. She was a daughter of Larry and Mary (Silva) Estacio of Lowell.


Born January 4, 1965, in Lowell, Diane was educated in the local schools, graduating from Greater Lowell Vocational High School, and attended college. She currently worked for Lowell District Court for over twenty five years as a Sessions Clerk.

Her hobbies were cooking and decorating especially for Christmas, her favorite Holiday. She loved going to any beach because she enjoyed being by the ocean. She also enjoyed camping at the beach with her brother and family.
She made her lifelong home in Lowell and was a communicant of St. Anthony’s Church.

In addition to her parents Larry and Mary, she is survived by her brother, Robert Estacio and his wife, Sharlene, of Lowell; her fiancee, John Gath Jr. of Lowell; her nephew, Ryan Estacio and her niece, Courtney Estacio. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Olympio and Fatima Silva, Sal and Carol Silva, Florence Silva, Idelta and Jerry Homen, Florentina Estacio, Joe Armas, and Deborah Silva.

She was also predeceased by her aunts and uncles, Joe and Maria Estacio, Antonio Estacio, Maria and Pedro Sousa, Adelaide Armas, Manuel Silva.

She is also survived by her other family at the courthouse, including Mr. Lisano, Lee and friends. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Kendra of MS3 at Lowell General for the special care she provided to Diane during the last stages of her cancer.

YOU ARE INVITED TO HER CALLING HOURS 2 UNTIL 6 P.M. ON SUNDAY, JUNE 30. ON MONDAY, HER FUNERAL WILL BEGIN AT 9 A.M. AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL 978-458-6816. HER FUNERAL MASS WILL BE OFFERED AT ST. ANTHONY CHURCH, 893 CENTRAL ST., LOWELL AT 10 A.M.. BURIAL IN ST. PATRICK CEMETERY.
