Denise J. ‘Denie’ Tellier

LOWELL         Denise J. ‘Denie’ Tellier, 40, a lifelong Lowell resident, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017, after a long battle with ALS with her family at her side. She was a daughter of the late Robert J. Tellier and the late Judith A. (Wood) Riley.


Born June 10, 1977, in Lowell, she was educated in the Lowell Schools, graduating from Lowell High School. She then attended Middlesex Community College.


A devoted communicant of St. Patrick’s Church, she treasured time spent with her family and friends which includes family gatherings, concerts, cruising downtown to be with friends. She also loved all sorts of games, especially Trivia. She enjoyed watching Football, game shows like Jeopardy with Emile.


Her survivors include her sisters, Ginny LeRiche and her husband, Johnny, of Merrimack, NH, Marie J. Armstrong of Lowell, Christine Gilkes and her husband, Daniel, of Lowell, Gina M. Tellier of Lowell, and Tracy L. Robinson of Dracut who is more than like a sister,; her brothers, Robert J. Tellier, Jr. and wife Eileen Beaulieu, of Londonderry, NH and Jonathan Riley of Austin, Texas; her significant other Emile Kaufman of Lowell; her nieces and nephews; John LeRiche of NH, Alyssa B. Armstrong of Lowell, Kalil Colon of Lowell, Nigel Colon of Lowell, Victoria L. Robinson of Dracut, Amanda Beaulieu of Lowell, Jesse Beaulieu of Lowell, Cameron and Brandon Tellier of Londonderry, NH, Sofia Colon of Lowell and Kamyra Gilkes of Lowell. Also great niece and nephews. She is also survived by her cousin Crystal Figueroa and her husband, Edwin, and their children, Christian Dally, Amber Cook, Brianna and Josh Figueroa all of Lawrence. Also, her cousin Sharon Buckley and her husband, Gerald, and their children, Andrew Chace, Anthony Baule and Emma Buckley, all of Lowell as well as many other extended family and friends throughout the greater Lowell area. Last but not least, she leaves behind her beloved cats.


YOU ARE INVITED TO HER CALLING HOURS FROM 9 UNTIL 11 A.M. ON FRIDAY AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL 978-458-6816.

HER FUNERAL MASS WILL BE OFFERED AT ST. PATRICK CHURCH, 285 SUFFOLK ST., LOWELL, AT 12 NOON.
