David A. Duarte
LOWELL David A. Duarte, 46, of Lowell, died unexpectedly, Sunday, October 26, 2008, at his home. He was the beloved husband of Maria do Carmo Trindade Duarte of Brasil and the only son of Maria O (Silva) Duarte, of Lowell and the late Antonio E. Duarte who died in 2006.
Born February 6, 1962, in Lowell, he was educated in the local schools. He made his lifelong home in the Back Central Street area, and was a communicant of St. Anthony’s Church and a member of the Holy Ghost Society.
David worked for Raytheon Corporation for more than ten years before becoming employed with Whitman Products in Andover as an assembler. For many years, he enjoyed traveling to Brasil and spending summers at Camp Kokotosi in Raymond, Maine with his family and friends. He also enjoyed boating, listening to music, lobsters at Brown’s in Seabrook, New Hampshire, and was an avid soccer and tennis fan.
Besides his wife, Maria, and his mother, Maria, he is survived by a step son, Orlando Trindade of Brasil; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a Godchildren in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Tennessee, Florida, Brasil, Portugal, and Graciosa, Azores. He is also survived by his mother in law and brothers and sisters in law from Brasil and Lowell, and many close friends.


FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE INVITED TO HIS CALLING HOURS 5 UNTIL 8 P.M. ON FRIDAY AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL (978 OR 800) 458-6816.

DAVID’S FUNERAL AND BURIAL WILL BE HELD PRIVATELY. BURIAL IN ST. JOSEPH CEMETERY.
