Constance A. (McDonough) McInerney
Beloved Sister, Mother & Grandmother

CHELMSFORD Constance A. (McDonough) McInerney, 85, of Chelmsford, passed away peacefully after a short illness, Friday, October 4, 2013 at Palm Center in Chelmsford. She was the wife of the late Robert G. McInerney.
Born June 10, 1928, in Lowell, she was a daughter of the late John L. McDonough and the late Margaret E. (Moloney) McDonough, attended St. Peter's School and graduated from Notre Dame Academy.
She resided in Chelmsford and was a communicant of Holy Family Parish at St. Marie's Church in Lowell, where she was an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion. She was employed as an Administrator at Massachusetts Eye Associates in Chelmsford for over ten years before her retirement. Connie was also a volunteer at the House of Hope in Lowell. She enjoyed spending time with her family and at the beach.
She is survived by her six children and their spouses, Robert G. McInerney and his wife, Jean of Boston, Maura A. Casey and her husband, James of Doylestown, PA, David W. McInerney and his wife, Louise Griffin of Lowell, Betsy M. Flaherty and her husband, David of Mt. Plesant, SC, Kevin G. McInerney and his wife, Marianne of Chelmsford, and Steven W. McInerney of Tyngsboro; twelve grandchildren, John and Molly McInerney, Jay, Sean, and Ryan Casey; Brian and Meghann McInerney, Patrick and Amy McInerney, Sara and Brian McInerney, and Brendan Flaherty; her sister, Virginia MacLellan of Tewksbury
She was also the mother of the late Brian McInerney; and sister of the late Atty. John L. McDonough, Joseph M. McDonough, Eleanor Wilson, Margaret M. Rynne, and Elizabeth Lynch.
The family would like to thank the Palm Center for the loving and caring attention bestowed upon their beloved Connie during her stay there.
