Carol A. Lambert

LOWELL Carol A. (Lewis) Lambert, 69, of Lowell, died Thursday, August 5, 2010, at Saints Medical Center after a brief illness.

She was born June 8, 1941, in Lowell, a daughter of the late Madeline Lewis, and was educated in the local schools.

She worked for Raytheon until she started her family. Carol was a caretaker for others. She loved working with the elderly. To provide for her daughters, she always worked two jobs. She was a telemarkerter in addition to working with the elderly doing home health care. She was formerly a member of St. Patrick’s Church. Her greatest pleasure was spoiling her grandchildren and great grandson. Carol will be remembered as the kind of person who would do anything for anyone. She was deeply loved and will be sorely missed by her daughters, grandchildren, and extended family and friends.

Carol’s family would like to thank everyone at Town and Country Nursing Home for the excellent and compassionate care she received while in their care and would especially like to thank her special friend at Town Country for putting a twinkle back in her eye.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Kim Hebert and her husband, Roger, of Florida, and Kerri Lambert of Lowell; her grandchildren, Zachary, Courtney, Floyd, Larry, Pipa, Shaineath, and Treshaun; her great grandchildren, Alexia, Zay, and Aviensky; her two brothers, Bill Lewis of Lowell and John Lewis of New Hampshire; and several nieces and nephews.

AT CAROL’S REQUEST, CALLING HOURS HAVE BEEN OMITTED AND HER FUNERAL WILL BE HELD PRIVATLEY. ARRANGEMENTS BY THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL 978-458-6816. MEMORIALS IN HER NAME TO TOWN AND COUNTRY ACTIVITIES FUND, 259 BALDWIN ST., LOWELL MA 01851. E-CONDOLENCE - MCDONOUGHFUNERALHOME.COM
