Beverly A. 'Bev' Doyle
LOWELL Beverly A. 'Bev' (Boyert) Doyle, 74, of Lowell, passed away Friday, September 19, 2014 at Lowell General Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Walter Doyle with whom she would have celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary on November 6.
Born April 14, 1940, in Cleveland, Ohio, and she was a daughter of the late Bernard and the late Colette (Kientz) Boyert. Bev was raised in Cleveland where she attended Our Lady of Good Counsel Grammar School, and Lourdes Academy High School. She graduated from St. Elizabeth's Nursing School in Dayton, OH. She lived in Parma, Ohio when she married Walter on November 6, 1965; before moving to Massachusetts to reside in Lowell with her husband.
She resided in the Belvidere section of Lowell, where she was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church. Bev enjoyed gardening, birds, and spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. Bev was a dedicated nurse, and dearly loved for her ability to bring comfort and compassion to everyone she encountered. She was a cherished mother and role model to her daughters and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Walter, she is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Hatch and her husband, Mark, of North Chelmsford, and Patricia Doyle of Lowell and her significant other Joseph Ebbs of Townsend; two grandchildren, Henry and Emma Hatch both of North Chelmsford; a brother, Thomas Boyert and his wife, Mary, of Duluth, GA; and three sisters in law, Janet Boyert of Cleveland, OH, Catherine Zagarella and her husband, Joseph of Lowell, and Rita Clark of Nashua, NH. Bev is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and life long friends especially Dorothy Doyle of Lowell.
She was also the sister of the late Bernard Boyert; sister in law of the late Mary Brooks, William Brooks, James Doyle, John Doyle, and Robert Clark.
YOU ARE INVITED TO HER CALLING HOURS FROM 5 UNTIL 8 P.M. ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23. ON WEDNESDAY, HER FUNERAL WILL BEGIN AT 10 A.M. AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL 978-458-6816. HER FUNERAL MASS WILL BE OFFERED AT IMMACULATE CONCEPTION (LOWER) CHURCH, 144 EAST MERRIMACK STREET, LOWELL AT 11 A.M..
