Beatrice F. ‘Bea’ Sullivan
LOWELL Beatrice F. ‘Bea’ Sullivan, 89, of Lowell, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at Concord One after a brief illness.
A daughter of the late Frank J. and the late Maryann (Ready) Sullivan, she was born October 17, 1926, in Lowell, she attended St. Peter’s Parochial School and graduated from Lowell High School.
Bea made her lifelong home in Lowell, and was a member of the former St. Peter’s Parish and was a member of the Ladies Sodality. She was a communicant of St. Anthony’s Church.
While in High School, she worked for Prince Macaroni before become affiliated with the former Courier Citizen as an office worker for more than forty years until her retirement.
Bea was very proud of all of her nieces and nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews. She enjoyed time spent with them as they were growing up attending as many of their school and sporting events as possible. As adults, they brought her great pride with all of the prestigious accomplishments.
She is survived by her nieces Marybeth Wallace and her husband, David, of Acton, Joanne Dentier and her husband, Robin, of Littleton, and Nancy Carbutt and her husband, Christopher, of Sudbury; her grandnieces and grandnephews, Dr. James Wallace and his wife, Katelynn, of San Diego, CA, Christine Pavel and her husband, Dr. Michael Pavel of Shirley, Evan Dentler of Littleton, Jonathan and Liam Carbutt both of Sudbury, and great grandniece Evangeline Pavel of Shirley.
She was predeceased by her sisters, the late Sr. Joan Francis of the Sisters of Charity of Halifax, the late Frances B. Sweeney, the late Patricia A. Sullivan, the late Claire E. Sullivan and the late Joan F. Sullivan.
YOU ARE INVITED TO HER CALLING HOURS 9 UNTIL 10 A.M. ON FRIDAY MORNING AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL 978-458-6816.

HER FUNERAL MASS WILL BE OFFERED FRIDAY AT 11 A.M. AT ST. ANTHONY’S CHURCH, 893 CENTRAL ST., LOWELL. BURIAL IN ST. PATRICK CEMETERY.
