Barbara Ann (Ryan) Silva
Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Sister

NASHUA Barbara Ann (Ryan) Silva, 82, of Nashua, died Friday, November 23, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Jeff C. Silva who passed away July 4, 2003.

Born July 26, 1930, in Lowell, she was a daughter of the late Robert Ryan and the late Maria F. (Davidson) Ryan, attended the local schools including Sacred Heart School.

She resided in Nashua, and was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church in Lowell. She was employed as a machine operator for GearTronics in Billerica for many years before her retirement. She enjoyed traveling to Foxwoods, playing Bingo, and attending the Senior Mystery Tours with the Senior Center.

She is survived by a son, Donald M. Silva and his wife, Rula of Pleasanton, CA; a daughter, Deborah A. Silva and her husband, Nelson of Nashua, NH, six grandchildren, Tammy Pellerin, Mathew Silva, Melissa Gauthier, Philip Silva, Michael Silva and Jacob Silva, four great grandchildren, Katryn Pellerin, Emma Pellerin, Ryan DaSilva and Julia Gauthier, four brothers, Donald Ryan of Lowell, Thomas Ryan of Lowell, William Ryan and his wife, Shirley of Lowell, and Michael Ryan and his wife, Marguerite of Lowell; two sisters, Sheila Kelly and her husband, Daniel of Ohio, and Agnes Wojkiewicz of Lowell; a brother in law, Andrew Modoch of NJ; and many nieces and nephews.

She was also the sister of the late Maureen Modoch and the late Edward Ryan; and sister in law of the late Kenneth Wojkiewicz and the late Pat Ryan.

YOU ARE INVITED TO HER CALLING HOURS FROM 4 UNTIL 8 P.M. SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 25. ON MONDAY, HER FUNERAL WILL BEGIN AT 9 A.M. AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL (978 OR 800) 458-6816. HER FUNERAL MASS WILL BE OFFERED AT ST. ANTHONY'S CHURCH, 893 CENTRAL STREET, LOWELL, AT 10 A.M.. CEMETERY PRAYERS WILL BE OFFERED IN ST. PATRICK CEMETERY CHAPEL. MEMORIALS IN HER NAME MAY BE MADE TO HOME HEALTH AND HOSPICE CARE, 7 EXECUTIVE PARK DRIVE, MERRIMACK, NH 03054.
