Ann M. Sullivan
LOWELL Ann M. Sullivan, 91, of Lowell, passed away after a period of declining health on Monday, July 18, 2016 at Sunny Acres Nursing Home in Chelmsford. She was the widow of the late John F. Sullivan who passed away in 1996.
She was born in Lowell, on August 2, 1924 and was a daughter of the late John T. Farrell and the late Margaret (O’Connor) Farrell. She attended the local schools including Sacred Heart School and graduated from Lowell High School with the class of 1943.
Ann resided in the Belvidere section of Lowell and was a member of the former Sacred Heart Church for many years, before becoming a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church. She was employed as an Inspector at Raytheon in Tewksbury for over 25 years before her retirement. Ann enjoyed traveling to the beach with her family. She had a sweet tooth and loved ice cream and chocolate. Above all, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends.
She is survived by three daughters, Karen Follett and her husband, Thomas of Lowell, Mary Pyne and her husband, Joe of Lowell, and Margaret Sullivan and her husbamd, Joseph Mansour of Methuen; seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Last and her husband, Patrick, John Follett and his wife, Angel, Megan Smith and her husband, Jason, Christopher Pyne and his wife Rebecca, Courtney Gervais and her husband Joseph, Alex Mansour and Angela Mansour. Ann is also survived by eight great grandchildren, Jaymie, Catelyn and Emily Last, Amira and Rylan Follett, Eliza and Norah Smith, and Joey Gervais; a nephew Robert Farmer, and two nieces Kathleen Doucette, and Debra Farmer.
She was also the sister of the late John M. Farrell, Mary Farmer, and Margaret Farrell; and sister in law of the late Richard Farmer, Paul Sullivan, Joseph Sullivan, Anna Sullivan, and Timothy Sullivan.
Ann's family would like to thank the staff at Sunny Acres Nursing Home for the compassion, and outstanding care she recieved.


ON THURSDAY, JULY 21, 2016 YOU ARE INVITED TO HER CALLING HOURS FROM 4 UNTIL 8 P.M. AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL, MA 978-458-6816.

ON FRIDAY, HER FUNERAL WILL BEGIN AT 9 A.M. AT THE FUNERAL HOME. HER FUNERAL MASS WILL BE OFFERED AT IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH, 144 EAST MERRIMACK STREET, LOWELL AT 10 A.M.. A PROCESSION WILL FOLLOW TO LOWELL CEMETERY.
