Agnes Ann Wojcukiewicz

LOWELL Agnes Ann (Ryan) Wojcukiewicz, 82, a lifelong Lowell resident, passed away Monday, November 28, 2016, at D’Youville Senior Health Care Center after a period of declining health, surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of the late John K. Wojcukiewicz who died in 1998.

A daughter of the late Robert E. Ryan and the late Molly (Davidson) Ryan, she was born June 25, 1934, in Lowell, and was educated in the local schools, graduating from Lowell High School. In her younger days, she modeled in the Lowell area with a local women's organization.
A lifelong resident of Lowell, she grew up in the South Lowell ‘Spaghettiville Area’ before she moved to the Highlands Section of the City where she spent most of her adult lifetime, she was a communicant of St. Margaret Church. She was also a devoted fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.

Following her marriage in 1955, Agnes dedicated her life to her husband, children, and her beloved grandchildren. She loved traveling into Boston's North End for dinners with her husband, John, and also, somewhat reluctantly, she enjoyed time spent antiquing with him. More than anything, her family meant the world to her.

Her survivors include her daughters, Donna Wojcukiewicz Garvey of Nashua, NH, Nancy Sparks Colombo and her husband, Michael, of Newbury, her sons, Ken Wojcukiewicz of Lowell, and Gary Wojcukiewicz of Templeton, her grandchildren, Ryan Sparks of Newbury,Paige Wojcukiewicz of Lowell, Drew Garvey of Portsmouth, NH and Olivia Wojcukiewicz and Zachary Wojcukiewicz of Templeton. She is also survived by her loving brothers, Thomas Ryan of Lowell, William Ryan of Lowell and Michael Ryan and his wife, Marguerite, of Tyngsboro, her brothers in law, Dan Kelly of Ohio, Andy Moldoch of New Jersey, her sister in law, Maureen Ryan of Cambridge and several nieces and nephews.


She was the sister of the late Maureen Moldoch, the late Barbara Silva, the late Sheila Kelly, the late Robert Ryan, the late Edward Ryan and the late Donald Ryan. She was also predeceased by her sisters in law, the late Eleanor Ryan, the late Pat Ryan, the late Shirley Ryan, her brother in law, the late Jeff Silva.

ON FRIDAY, HER FUNERAL WILL BEGIN AT 12 P.M. AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL 978-458-6816.

HER FUNERAL MASS WILL BE OFFERED AT ST. MARGARET CHURCH, 374 STEVENS ST., LOWELL, AT 1 P.M.. BURIAL IN ST. PATRICK CEMETERY.
